The Ryan Group's suite of assessments is accessible online through user name and password and consists of four unique and proprietary assessments designed for career development including job performance, job fit, job satisfaction, social behaviors, working styles, and values.

CenterMark – Assesses the key attributes and behaviors associated with job performance and satisfaction.  Based on studies in preferences.  There are 12 key areas associated with job performance for each of the 16 types, including: characteristics, contributions to an organization, careers, management style, communication style, learning style, approaches to problem solving and decision making, conflict resolution, motivators, on a team, change management, and opportunities for growth.

MatchPoint – Assesses the key characteristics influencing job fit and satisfaction. Supports employees in their career planning and increases their potential for job satisfactions. Helps employees better understand their goals, professional contribution, developmental needs and potential pitfalls. Assists both employees and managers in identifying where within the organizational structure employees might find the best match with their interests, values, and skills.  The assessment identifies primary types as well as combinations of types for an in-depth view. Once themes are confirmed, they can link to identified career choices in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles (DOT) or can be customized to link to the individual client company’s job descriptions, job families, as well as job openings.

Working Styles – Is a 360 view of observable social behaviors and working style. Based on studies in social styles.  Identified by 4 themes: Expressive, Amiable, Driver, Analytical. Application is to: work settings, work environment fit, communication style, management style and development suggestions. The assessment provides the capability to obtain the views of others, which is a key differentiating component of the assessment.  It is self-administered and requires no special administration such as tracking, routing, or storage of results.

ValueBase – Is an assessment for clarifying values and the importance of how these values are actualized and expressed on the job. For individuals, groups, and organization value development. Includes relevant case-based examples, exercises and journaling capabilities. Numerous strategies and templates are provided for individual development and community participation (such as teams, work groups, departments, business units, as well as organizations).

Validity and Reliability

CenterMark, MatchPoint, and Working Styles assessment instruments have undergone independent review for validity and reliability and have met all industry standards, including adequacy of the items, theoretical framework of the intended measures, statistical difference among each of the types for establishing discriminant separation, stability of the inventory over time, statistical convergence and divergence of each behavior scale, and measuring of the theoretical construct.  CenterMark, MatchPoint, and Working Styles assessment instruments have been determined to be without bias across ethnic boundaries, gender, and age groups.
