Health Care Organizations:

The Health Care professional is the crucial link between the patient and the services offered by the Health Care facility.  The ability to communicate clearly under these conditions is crucial.  This scenario gains even greater importance when the patient is an individual who is a non-English speaking Hispanic patient.

Background:

There are over 35 million Hispanics living in the US today.  Hispanics have become the largest minority.  Communication problems arise when non-English speaking Hispanic patients attempt to communicate with Health Care professionals.
