Assess areas of personal capability that enable employees to be successful in their careers.

Assessing combinations of knowledge, skills and abilities that are necessary to perform ones job provides a better understanding how effectively employees perform certain behaviors.  And, will allow the organization to create development plans that are targeted and aligned to the expectations of current and future roles.

Performance Behaviors: Specific examples describing what one might observe in how an employee demonstrates competencies, skills, knowledge, and abilities.

Assessment - A tool based on a specific competency framework where employees and others are asked to rate each of the performance behaviors across appropriate dimensions:

·         Level of Effectiveness – How effective are you in performing this behavior?

·         Importance of Performance Behaviors – How important is this behavior for success in your role?

This ensures that all basic requirements for executives, managers, and individual contributors are aligned with a core set of attributes, performance behaviors and competencies that permeates the organization and defines, at a fundamental level, the organization’s human capital.
